Old Place Observation Deck
Located on the Jiantan Mountain trail, this is a popular instagram photo spot in Taipei City. From here, you can overlook the beautiful scenery of Taipei city featuring an excellent panoramic view. At the same time, it is also a pleasant place to enjoy the sunset and night views.
Jiantan Mountain Trail
Jiantan Mountain is the northern ridge of the mountain behind the Yuanshan Hotel and is the closest mountain to the center of Taipei City, featuring convenient transportation and accessible trails, plus it was once a military restricted area and a safeguarded woodland, making the natural forest and plants well preserved and suitable for families and children.
Bishanyan
Bishanyan is the largest of the Kaizhang Shengwang Temples in Taiwan, which attracts many visitors. The location is high enough to overlook not only the Taipei basin, but also the meandering Tamsui River, Carp Mountain, and terraced rice fields. At night, tourists can enjoy the beauty of the Taipei 101 Building and the Yuanshan Hotel from here.
