Certification Event Guidelines

1. Event Purpose: To continuously promote the "Taipei Grand Trail" hiking activity and encourage the public to embrace nature and establish a healthy lifestyle, this annual certification event is organized.
2. Event Period:
   1. Mission I (Annual Certification): From 8:00 AM on February 26, 2026 (Thursday) until December 31, 2026.
   2. Mission II (Monthly Gemstone Master): From April 1, 2026, to November 30, 2026. Participants are to collect gemstones on designated trail sections each month.

   Annual Certification Event ※ Choose one of the following methods to complete the challenge.	Hiking Note APP: Use the "Hiking Note APP" for the 2026 Taipei Grand Trail Treasure Hunt Mission. Once you have completed the collection mission, you can redeem your prize.	Important Notes: If the same individual completes both the "Hiking Note APP" and the "Photo Challenge," the results cannot be combined. Each person is limited to one redemption only.    	Photo Challenge:  This mission is designed for participants who do not have a smartphone or prefer not to use the "Hiking Note APP." To complete this challenge, please take a photo with the　16 designated　gemstone signboards along the trail.	For the Photo Challenge, any photos taken outside of the official event period will not be accepted. If the same individual completes both the "Hiking Note APP" and the "Photo Challenge," the results cannot be combined. Each person is limited to one redemption only.    Monthly Gemstone Master	Challenge designated sections by month and use the "Hiking Note APP" to collect gemstones for the specified sections: April: Section 1 May: Section 2 June: Section 7 July: Section 5 August: Section 8 September: Section 6 October: Section 3 November: Section 4	APP Users Only: Each gemstone can only be obtained once per day. Ranking Updates: The ranking list is updated daily at 12:00 PM (noon). Monthly Results: The rankings for the previous month are finalized from 00:00 on the 1st to 24:00 on the last day of each month. The top 100 participants who complete the designated monthly challenge will receive a prize. Note on Ties: In the event of a tie in gemstone count, participants will share the same rank (e.g., if two people tie for 2nd place, the next person will be ranked 4th). Data Verification: Results are based on the rankings published by the "Hiking Note APP" system. Rankings will display nicknames by default; real names will not be disclosed without prior consent.    ※ Grand Year-End Lucky Draw: A variety of generous prizes have been prepared for this event. Please complete the satisfaction survey within the system. After the prize redemption period ends (January 15, 2027), a lucky draw will be held (by February 28, 2027) among all participants who completed Mission I and Mission II. Winners will be announced separately, and prizes will be sent via mail.

   
   

6. Prize and Certificate Redemption Period:

(1) Application Period: From June 1, 2026, to January 15, 2027. Late applications will not be accepted. 

(2)Redemption Method:

• All applications must be submitted via the Google Form online. Paper or in-person applications are not accepted. Certificates and prizes will be mailed in order of application.
•  APP Users: Data is verified automatically; no screenshots are needed unless the system fails or data is incomplete. 
• Photo Challenge Users: Must upload clear photos of themselves with the gemstone signboards. 
• Required Information: Real name, nickname, ID number, phone, mailing address, APP login method, mission type, and personal data consent. 
• Shipping: Prizes will be sent via registered mail. If a package is returned due to an incorrect address or failure to collect, the applicant must re-apply within the deadline and cover the reshipping costs.

Notes & Terms:

• Privacy: Data is used only for verification and shipping. Participants may request data deletion after the event.
• Fair Play: Forgery, identity theft, or cheating will result in disqualification. Appeals must be emailed within 10 days of the result announcement.
• APP Login: FB and LINE logins are treated as different accounts. Please use the same login method to ensure your progress is accumulated correctly.
• Offline Tasks: If tasks are split by more than a month, please delete and redownload the "Offline Mission" in the APP settings to ensure data sync (this will not delete your earned gemstones).
